I have had three separate foot surgeries with Dr. Sealey. All were successful and the outcomes were in line with anticipated results.
He was "dead on" with recovery expectations and his constant reminders that these surgeries require up to a full year to realize the complete benefit. I now walk between 40 and 50 miles per week for exercise. Before Dr. Sealey, I was lucky to do 20. If I make 75 years, in part it will be because Dr. Sealey got me moving again. In the meantime, I do enjoy being pain free.
Dr. Henshaw was amazing....despite a second opinion from HSS in Manhattan, I opted to go with Dr.Henshaw (who trained at HSS)....
I had such great results on my right rotator cuff that I didn't hesitate to have him do my left rotator cuff, both shoulders requiring a substantial amount of re structuring, and both outcomes great. Add to that a truly caring and engaged demeanor, and Dr. Henshaw is your guy.
Dr. Lunt performed surgery on my left hand 20 years ago, and I never had any reason see him again because the surgery went so well.
But I recently saw Dr. Lunt for a different issue and he immediately remembered me despite a different last name and twenty years' time. He not only helped me with the new issue, he also took the time to examine my left hand to be sure everything was still okay.
The fact that he remembered me— and that I've had no issues with my hand for 20 years— is a testament to Dr Lunt and his true professional care. He has the best bedside manner and takes the time to truly explain everything in full detail. Dr. Lunt is an awesome surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone.
My experience with Danbury Orthopedics was by far the best I have ever had with health care professionals.
From the assistants at the front desk, to the technicians, to the doctors (Dr.s Patel and DiGiovanni in particular, whose masterful care I have had the privilege to receive), the quality of service is first rate. I almost never take the time to do reviews. The fact that I am writing this shows how strong my endorsement is for Danbury Orthopedics.
Dr. Ciminiello: The quality of the entire experience with you and your team has truly changed my life for the better
I just wanted to say thank you for drastically improving my daily life. As you know, I was a competitive Tennis Player in my early 20’s and after 4 shoulder surgeries I decided to hang up the racket. Over the past 20+ years I have been living in pain and not able to do sports activities that required my shoulder function. Fast forward 23 years and after you performed my Rotator Cuff Surgery, I am back, fully functional and actually playing tennis again! More importantly I am, for the 1st time, able to throw the baseball with my kids. This is the best gift anyone can receive.
The quality of the entire experience with you and your team has truly changed my life for the better. I just wanted to say “Thank You!”
Dr. Southern: I want to thank you for many things
One, for being an amazing doctor and doing everything you could to give me back my life. You never gave up on helping me. Today, I stand strong and have the rest of my life to look forward to. The spinal cord stimulation by far has improved my life and has gotten me back to doing things I had stopped doing because of my pain.
The second thing I want to thank you for has to do with you taking time to come to court for me. Unfortunately, the jury did not put much value on my injury. It's sad, but the truth is I am stronger now having gone through all this. Thank you for all your support and most of all for being an amazing doctor!
My best to you always,
Dr. Southern: I'm feeling just great this week
The prescriptions you arrived at are just what I needed, even at the minimum dosages as discussed. Last week was a straight-up misery, and I understand your need for approaching my problem with caution. I'm sleeping great and feeling strong, working up to my best, activity level better than I would have expected — almost pain-free.
You are very patient and thorough, and I feel I'm in the best and most capable care with you and your office of professionals. Thank you for the relief I'm getting. I'm healing up just fine, and I couldn't be happier.
Dr. Ciminiello: From start to-finish, the experience
has been nothing short of perfect
The purpose of my letter is to let you know what a fantastic experience I have had with the office of Dr. Angelo Ciminiello. From start to-finish, the experience has been nothing short of perfect.
I contacted the office in May, regarding my shoulder pain. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who followed up with me over the subsequent weeks. Dr. Ciminiello was able to examine me in a very reasonable period of time, where he assured me they would do everything they could to get me healthy and avoid surgery. Over the following weeks I participated in physical therapy, where the staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. We tried therapy, a cortisone shot, but my shoulder was too far gone without surgery. I was fully prepared for any complications I might experience and scheduled for surgery July 22nd. The surgical staff was so professional, courteous, and reassuring, I was barely able to get nervous before I woke up in the recovery room. I realize that I am extremely lucky, but I have experienced next to no pain since the procedure. I was out of the sling and driving in very little time and the office staff was astounded at my recovery. I would like to tell you it is my superhuman powers, but I cannot believe it did not have something to do with the doctors and staff.
Since the surgery, I have continued to work with Ashley Gabriel in physical therapy, who is absolutely top notch. She knows and explains exactly what we are doing coinciding why and how it affects my rehab.
In closing, I cannot thank your staff enough for the job they have done for me. I have told and will continue to tell people of my experience.
Dr. Southern: I am beyond grateful
...I am beyond grateful for all you have done for me as my physician, and the highly dedicated level of care I've received over the last 2 1/2 years as your patient. Thank you!
Dr. Ciminiello: Thanking you for 12 months of care
It's with great pleasure that I write to you thanking you for all you have done in the past 12 months for me. My knee surgery from a year ago was flawless and feels great. My most recent shoulder surgery was essentially pain free, the rehab you prescribed is going great, and I have a full range of motion and much of my strength back just 10 days later. I couldn't be more pleased with the totality of your care and your affable and caring demeanor. Thanks so much.
Dr. Ciminiello: 3 month Torn Meniscus surgery update
I just wanted to let you know where I am roughly 3 months after surgery on the torn meniscus. So for our lifting testing in late September, I was able to squat 325 for 4 without any pain, dead lifted 315 for 6 without any pain, hang cleaned 215, ran a 6.7 60 yard dash with no pain, played a whole fall season with sliding, diving, changing direction, hitting, and crow hop and throwing without any pain. I have full range of motion and can do the act of sliding, which hurt me in the first place, with minimal effort and pain. And I'm pretty sure I can dunk now too.
I can't tell you how thankful I am and how happy I am that I was able to recover so quickly and to be honest, I feel like I came back stronger than I was before.
Thought you'd appreciate the update and also to know you had another successful surgery.
Dr. Southern: A note to say "thank you"
Just a quick note to say thank you for all your help in managing my pain. The new medicine seems to be working! I'm so happy that I can now do things I haven't been able to do for ages...
I truly appreciate both your and Jennifer's assistance throughout this process. I now feel that there is hope and that better days are ahead! Once again, thanks for all you do to help those of us who suffer with chronic pain.
